Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PrimoTV LLC (“PrimoTV USA”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information about you when you visit https://primo-tv.co or subscribe to our IPTV service. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. Because we sell to customers across the United States, we apply the standards set by US state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and the comparable laws of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states — to every US customer, whichever state you live in.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to deliver the service and keep accounts secure:

  • Account & billing: name, email address, country, the subscription plan you bought, and a payment-processor reference. We do not store full card numbers or bank details.
  • Service activation: the device MAC address, IPTV username and server URL we issue you, so we can link and re-issue your line if you lose access.
  • Support correspondence: emails, WhatsApp messages and live-chat transcripts when you contact us.
  • Technical: IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL and page-view timestamps, collected through standard server logs.
  • Cookies: see our Cookie Policy for the categories we use and how to control them.

2. How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the IPTV subscription you bought and activate it on your devices.
  • Take payment and issue invoices via our payment processor.
  • Reply to support, sales and reseller enquiries.
  • Send service emails such as activation details, renewal reminders and security alerts.
  • Protect the service against fraud, abuse and unauthorised redistribution of streams.
  • Meet our legal obligations (tax records, court orders, data-protection requests).

3. Legal basis for processing

We rely on contract to process the data needed to deliver your subscription, legitimate interests to keep our service secure and to reply to enquiries, consent for optional cookies and marketing emails, and legal obligation where we must keep tax records or comply with lawful requests.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with:

  • Our secure third-party payment processors, so they can take payment.
  • Email and messaging providers used to send activation, support and renewal notices.
  • Cloud hosting, CDN and security partners that run the streaming infrastructure.
  • Professional advisers (accountants, lawyers) under strict confidentiality.
  • UK or EU authorities where we are legally required to disclose information.
  • Advertising and measurement platforms — Meta and OpenAI — which receive pseudonymised event data about visits and purchases so we can measure how our ads perform.

4a. International transfers

Some of the providers above are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK we rely on the UK Government’s adequacy regulations for that country, or on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum), together with any additional safeguards the transfer requires.

5. How long we keep information

Account and billing records are kept for as long as your subscription is active and for up to 6 years after closure, to meet IRS and consumer-protection requirements. Support tickets are kept for up to 24 months. Server logs are rotated after 30 days unless flagged for fraud investigation.

6. Your rights

Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:

  • Confirm what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy.
  • Correct any information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your data where we no longer need it for the reasons above.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Send a portable copy of your data to another provider.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis we rely on.
  • Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • Limit how we use and disclose sensitive personal information.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use advertising and analytics tools that set cookies and may share limited identifiers with advertising partners, which some US state laws treat as “sharing” for targeted advertising. To opt out, email us with the subject Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or reject non-essential cookies in the cookie banner. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price or give you a lower standard of service because you exercised any of these rights.

Send a request to moc.vtpiomirp@troppus. We verify your identity before acting and reply within 45 days, extending once by a further 45 days if a request is complex — we will tell you if we need the extra time. You may use an authorised agent. If you believe we have not handled your data properly you can complain to your state Attorney General, or, in California, to the California Privacy Protection Agency.

7. Security

We protect data in transit with TLS, store it on servers with restricted, audited access, and review our security controls regularly. No system can be 100% secure — if a breach affects your data and is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant state authorities without unreasonable delay, within the deadlines set by the breach-notification law of your state.

8. Children

PrimoTV USA is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13, in line with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will always show the most recent change. Material changes will be notified by email to active subscribers.
